Coach Chris Damoulous joins the JV coaching staff as the Co-Head Coach. Coach Damoulous has coached 6 years at Junior College level at American River and Sierra College. He has also coached at the high school level for 15 years at El Dorado and Woodcreek. He played 4 years of high school football at Foothills High School in Pleasanton, CA as Saftey and Wide Receiver. To Coach Damoulous, coaching football is teaching the GREATEST team game, ever! His coaching style is high energy and competitive and is influenced by great teachers of football like Todd McKillop, Jerry Haflich, Jeff Tisdel & Ed Eaton. Coach Damaoulous is married to his wife Gina and have 3 children: Abby, Mack & Brock. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing, fly fishing and hunting.
Marco Hanan
Head Coach/Offensive Coordinator/QBs
Coach Marco Hanan joins the JV coaching staff as the Co-Head Coach. Coach Hanan has coached at the Varsity level for the past 7 years - 4 at Woodcreek High School and 3 at Antelope High School. He has been both Offensive and Defensive Coordinator and has coached Quarterbacks, Running Backs, Wide Receivers, Defensive Backs and Line Backers. Coach Hanan played 4 years of high school football at Escondido High School as a Wide Receiver and Strong Safety. He was part of Palomar Junior College’s National Championship Team where he played 2 years as a Free Safety and also played 1 year at Sacramento State. Coach Hanan is detailed oriented, organized, passionate and competitive. He enjoys building relationships with the athletes as well as the competitive aspects and detailed preparation of coaching. Coach Hanan is a PE Teacher at Woodcreek High School. He is married to his wife Jaime, who teaches science at Antelope Crossing Middle School. They have 2 sons, Jackson(6) and Hudson (5) who both have a love for sports, too.
Leonard Nelson
Offensive Line
Coach Leonard Nelson III joins the Woodcreek High School coaching staff as the Offensive Line coach for JV. He coached at Kennedy High School and Bella Vista High School as well as at the youth level with Antelope Pronghorns and Antelope Titans. Coach Nelson played defensive back at CK McClatchy High School and at American River College. He was the Nasty Back at Sacramento State. He played 3 years in the CFL for the Sacramento Gold Miners as an outside linebacker. In addition, he played with the San Jose Sabercats in the AFL as a linebacker and fullback for 6 years. Coach Nelson’s fun, fast, and aggressive coaching style is mainly influenced by his own children. He is married to his wife Riette and is and Operations Manager at Point Quest Education. When he isn't coaching, he enjoys golfing and snowboarding.
L Anthony Luke
Defensive Line
Coach Tony Luke joins the coaching staff as the JV Defensive Line Coach. Coach Luke brings a wealth of experience to the program. He has been coaching for 11 years at both the junior and high school level. He played high school football at Foothill and San Juan High School on both the Offensive and Defensive Line. He also played at Sierra College and was part of the 1990 BVC Championship team. Coach Luke loves the game of football and enjoys helping players become better and good players to become great. He is style is influenced by his father, whose work ethic, intelligence, character and compassion has inspired him to share these attributes with his family and others. Coach Luke is married to his wife Heather and together they have 8 children. His hobby? Breaking down game film!
