Coach Kent Crossman has coached Wide Receivers, Defensive Backs & Special Teams at Woodcreek High School for the last 3 years at both JV and Freshman levels. He coached 4 years at the junior level with WJT. Coach Crossman played at Folsom High School and was the Quarterback and a Defensive Back all 4 years. His coaching style is one of care first for the student and then for the athlete. He feels at the freshman level, they are entering a very challenging time for their education and life; it’s important to not only coach them in football but also in life and be available to them as a male role model. For football, it is show them first, let them do it, and then refine their skills as they move throughout the year. Coach Crossman is married and has 2 children. In his off time, he enjoys coaching his daughter’s softball team and watching her play soccer. He also enjoys coaching football and watching his son play football. As for hobbies outside of sports, he enjoys golfing, boating, camping and spending time with his bride of 9 years.
